Three innovators from Nigeria's circular economy sector came together on 7 and 8 October 2026 for the fourth PROTEGO Accelerator Workshop, two days dedicated to reviewing pilot progress and charting a path toward long-term sustainability and scale.

Lumos Laboratories Nigeria Limited, Circularity Africa Limited and Street Waste Company Limited joined the session, each at a different stage of implementing their pilot solutions. With that work now underway, attention is turning to what comes next: how these ventures can sustain their operations beyond the pilot phase and extend their reach to more communities.

The workshop also created space to take stock of progress so far, examine the challenges encountered on the ground, and identify practical adjustments to strengthen each pilot moving forward.
